Blackpool Pleasure Beach Resort opens for 130th season with half-price tickets and new thrills this March
Blackpool Pleasure Beach Resort has opened for its 130th year this weekend - with visitors able to take advantage of half-price tickets throughout March.
The historic seaside theme park reopened its gates on Saturday, March 7, marking a milestone season with new deals, attractions and events planned throughout the year.
During March, visitors can buy tickets for £30, which is half the usual on-the-day price and the lowest Saturday ticket price available during the 2026 season.

The offer forms part of the park’s new Adrenaline Weekends, running every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month.
Thrillseekers will also be able to try ENSŌ, an upgrade to the park’s Icon rollercoaster which features a specially designed twisting seat to intensify the ride experience.
Previously priced at £15, visitors will be able to experience ENSŌ for £5 during March.
Amanda Thompson OBE, CEO of Pleasure Beach Resort, said: “This season we are proudly celebrating 130 years of welcoming guests through our gates. With the events and promotions we have lined up, I truly believe this will be an unmissable year for the park.
“2026 is a milestone year for us in more ways than one. We’re welcoming a new ride, celebrating our 130th birthday, and we’ve launched a whole host of exciting new offers designed to make it even easier to visit Pleasure Beach Resort.
“We can’t wait to begin such an exciting season. Here’s to the next 130 years.”
Guests visiting the park this weekend will also be able to see the resort’s new record-breaking ride Aviktas up close for the first time.
The giant ride, which is currently undergoing testing, recently completed its first full 138ft swing.
Standing at 138ft tall, Aviktas will be the tallest ride of its type in the UK when it opens in spring 2026, with an official opening date expected to be announced in the coming months.
The park is also hosting its first Big Coaster Quiz tonight (March 7) after the park closes.
The quiz will take place at the Horseshoe Bar from 5pm, with the event beginning at 6.30pm.
Pleasure Beach Resort is open from 11am until 5pm over the opening weekend and will operate every weekend during March, before continuing its season through to November.
