Blackpool Lightpool Festival update on installation cancellations amid major Storm Boelo weather concerns

Lightpool Festival visitors are being warned that a small number of outdoor installations in Blackpool may be temporarily unavailable due to high winds forecast throughout the weekend.
The weather notice, issued for Friday, October 23 and the days ahead, currently affects Crystal Tide, Super Magic Stone Circle and Blackpool Rock on the Tower Festival Headland, as well as Light Sphere on North Pier.
Visitors are encouraged to enjoy the festival’s indoor installations across Blackpool and take care in and around the town centre.
Organisers have also advised people to check the Lightpool Festival website for updates on individual installations before travelling, as weather conditions may change.
