Dec’s ‘Invincibles’ aim to keep their perfect run going
Fleetwood aim to take another step towards finishing their season as 'Invincibles' this weekend, when they play their penultimate game of a stunning Northern Premier Cricket League Division Two campaign at Fulwood and Broughton.
Skipper Declan Clerkin saw his men clinch the title on bank holiday Monday when they beat Carnforth by 11 runs at Broadwater.

That was a 19th win from as many completed games this summer, the only blot on their copybook being one 'no result' from a game abandoned due to the weather.
They will face an F&B side with plenty to motivate them, as they sit in third place behind Euxton, who they trail by just four points going into the game against the new champions.
Fleetwood themselves will still have a vital role to play in deciding who goes up into the Northern League's top flight alongside them, since they complete their campaign against Euxton next weekend.
So there is little chance of the season petering out for Clerkin's men, especially as a comprehensive win tomorrow will most likely guarantee Euxton promotion if they defeat Preston at Balshaw Park.
Even if F&B lose on Saturday, they still could take the promotion race into the final weekend by amassing as many bonus points as they can.
In NPCL Division One, Blackpool have a derby clash with St Annes to help them get over the disappointment of their title hopes being extinguished by Monday's four-wicket loss at Garstang, where they made 173-9 and saw the hosts reply with 178-6.
Lytham host Barrow, on the back of giving their chances of survival a boost with a three-wicket win against Preston.
It was their first victory since June 20 and means they are in 10th spot, eight points clear of the bottom two.
Weekend fixtures:
Northern League Division One: Blackpool v St Annes.
Northern League Division Two: Fulwood & Broughton v Fleetwood, Lytham v Barrow, Thornton Cleveleys v Penwortham.
Palace Shield Championship: Penrith v Fylde.
