Update on Singy's Bar & Bistro in Bispham amid sudden closure
“We will reopen once all the issues are resolved”
A recently-opened bar in the heart of Bispham has closed until further notice.
When Singy’s Bar & Bistro, at 28-29 Red Bank Rd, opened its doors earlier this summer it became the latest in a number of new bars and eateries on the vibrant high street.

The new venue, run by Si and Emma Singleton, has featured popular curry nights and open mic events since opening.
But a notice has appeared in the window stating the bar was currently closed and that the property had “too many issues”.
It said: “We apologise for the inconvenience but we have to close Singy’s bar until further notice as the property has too many issues.
“We will reopen once all the issues are resolved and we hope to open as soon as possible.
“We wish to thank all our customers for their support since we have been open and hope to open you all back once the premises are ready.”
The property was previously occupied by Chan’s Cafe Bar and earlier by No 29 Cafe and Wine Bar. Before that it was known as Bobbies Cafe Bar.
The street could even soon have a combined book star and cafe, as proposals have been submitted to Blackpool Council’s planners to open a new venture at the former William Hill betting shop at the corner with Warbreck Drive.
