Blackpool weather forecast - Windy weekend on the cards and when to expect heavy rain

Blackpool is set for a wet and windy weekend, with rain expected to become heavier on Saturday afternoon before conditions gradually turn drier on Sunday.

Saturday will begin cloudy, with spells of light rain during the morning. The rain is forecast to become more persistent in the afternoon and may be heavy at times, before clearing to leave mostly cloudy conditions by the evening.

It will also be a windy day across the resort.

Blackpool weather outlook for Sunday and Monday

Sunday is expected to remain very windy at times, with variable amounts of cloud and blustery showers moving in from the west throughout the day. Conditions should gradually become drier as the day progresses.

Monday will start cloudy but dry, although spells of rain are forecast to move in from the south-west as the day goes on.
