Major update from Blackpool Transport as trams suspended and bus services diverted due to severe weather

Blackpool Transport has suspended its tramway until further notice and is diverting bus services away from the promenade due to severe weather.

Services 1 and 2 will not be operating, while all other bus services will be diverted away from the promenade.

Passengers can still board the affected services from their usual stops on Market Street and Corporation Street.

However, buses will use Cookson Street and Park Road to divert away from the town centre.

Blackpool Transport has apologised to customers for any inconvenience caused.
