Blackpool squad news V Stockport County: Five out of midweek outing
Blackpool welcome Stockport County to Bloomfield Road this evening.
Blackpool will be looking to make it back-to-back wins when they take on Stockport County.
After losing their first three League One outings of 2026, the Seasiders now have something to build on, after claiming a 2-0 victory over Northampton Town at the weekend.
Zac Ashworth and Ashley Fletcher were both on target for Ian Evatt’s side, while Joel Randall and Michael Obafemi were handed their debuts in Tangerine following their loan moves from Bolton Wanderers and Burnley respectively.
James Husband will be back in contention for the visit of the Hatters, after serving a four-match ban on the back of his red card against Port Vale on New Year’s Day.
While the injury situation has eased to some extent again for Blackpool, several figures still remain absent.
Here’s the latest squad news:
Andy Lyons

Andy Lyons has become the newest addition to this list, with the defender ruled out for eight to 10 weeks with an achilles issue.
Dale Taylor

On what was his first start since October following a lengthy spell on the sidelines, Dale Taylor was forced off after just six minutes against Doncaster Rovers on Boxing Day.
The striker has since undergone surgery on a metatarsal injury, and is expected to be out for the foreseeable.
Hayden Coulson

Hayden Coulson was forced off in the opening exchanges of the Seasiders’ meeting with Wigan at the Brick Community Stadium last month.
It was later confirmed the wing-back had suffered a 3c hamstring tendon injury, and will only be back at the earliest towards the end of February based on the initial timeframe given.
Fraser Horsfall

Fraser Horsfall was ruled out for the foreseeable after picking up a hamstring injury against Port Vale on New Year’s Day.
Albie Morgan

Following the Seasiders’ recent defeat to Barnsley, it was revealed that Albie Morgan had suffered an ankle injury at the end of the recent FA Cup third round tie away to Ipswich Town.
This has come to a fresh blow for Blackpool, with the midfielder now facing four to six weeks on the sidelines.
