Stars in Their Eyes winner Jesse Rivers will be coming to Blackpool as part of the Hello Again: The Neil Diamond Songbook tour.

The show will be playing at the Grand Theatre on November 25, and features the beloved songs of American superstar Neil Diamond.

Coventry-born singer Jesse won the ITV TV series Stars in Their Eyes with his impersonation of Billy Joel and is a four-time National Tribute Award winner. The Diaz Sisters and Salvation Band also feature in the salute to the Brooklyn-born singer-songwriter.

Neil Leslie Diamond's back catalogue includes I Am...I Said, Song Sung Blue, Hello Again, Love on the Rocks, Forever in Blue Jeans and his first chart-topper Cracklin' Rosie. His songs have been recorded by UB40 (Red Red Wine) and The Monkees (Daydream Believer and A Little Bit Me, a Little Bit You).

Jesse said he can’t wait to step into the role and perform in Blackpool: “I had the silver greatest hits album as a kid. Long before I started getting into playing guitar and rock music, it was just something about those amazing songs and the way Neil conveyed them that spoke to me. There was just a beautiful directness about the way Neil sang and his perfectly crafted lyrics."
