Major Fylde coast supermarket Morrisons Cleveleys to close for exciting refurbishments

A major Fylde coast supermarket has announced an extended period of closure for ‘major refurbishment’ in November.
Morrisons will close its Cleveleys supermarket for 11 days from Sunday 15 November until Thursday 26 November whilst renovations are carried out. The store’s pharmacy, petrol station and click and collect services will all remain open, whilst the café, Timpson's and supermarket will be closed.
A spokesperson for Morrisons said that the store will be given a ‘refreshed look’: “Morrisons is temporarily closing its Thornton-Cleveleys store this November for a brief refurbishment ahead of unveiling a refreshed look, complete with upgraded fridges and freezers.
“The store will temporarily close for 10 days from 15th November, reopening on 26th November. The closure will allow all the work to be carried out quickly and safely in one go before unveiling the improvements to customers. The pharmacy, petrol station and Click & Collect service will remain open as usual throughout.
Al Barlow, Store Manager of Thornton-Cleveleys Morrisons, added: “Our Thornton-Cleveleys store is getting an exciting makeover and we can’t wait to reveal the fresh new look to our customers, complete with new fridges and freezers.
“ We apologise for having to temporarily close our doors while work takes place, but the wait will be worth it. We really appreciate the community’s patience and look forward to re-opening on 26th November.”
