Blackpool boss offers honest thoughts on upcoming two week League One break
Blackpool will have a two week break from League One action after this weekend’s meeting with Plymouth Argyle.
The upcoming extended international break is being welcomed by Blackpool boss Ian Evatt.
After their next outing against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday afternoon, the Seasiders will have two weekends off from League One action.
This is due to the number of international call-ups at Bloomfield Road, with postponements confirmed last week for the upcoming fixture against Notts County (September 26) and Leicester City (October 3).

Evatt has already admitted that the break will be an opportunity to get a number of players back to full fitness after spells on the sidelines, and can’t see the extended gap between fixtures having a negative effect on his side.
“I don’t find them disruptive because if you prepare the right way and recover the right way then you should be in the same space in the next window,” he said last week.
“The type of team I want us to be this season is physically very demanding. It’s really intense and really energetic, and these reset moments are crucial.
“Gone are the days where you can be nine months full tilt playing at that speed and that intensity; it’s not going to happen - you’re going to have burnout.
“We have to welcome these breaks. I know they’re not ideal for the supporters as they want to see us play, but for the bigger picture, it’s the right thing for us.”
