'We are incredibly moved by it - Fleetwood Glazey Days' Baby Bump Bowls go viral with millions of views
“What started as a creative way to celebrate pregnancy turned into an international phenomenon.”
A Fleetwood pottery studio has found itself at the centre of a global social media sensation after a heartfelt video showcasing its unique baby bump bowls attracted almost two million views.
Glazey Days is an award winning ceramic studio, run by Helen Taylor, and its baby bump bowls has captured the hearts of expectant parents with its creation - a bespoke keepsake made by carefully moulding clay directly on a mum-to-be’s bump before transforming it into a beautiful ceramic bowl.

She said: “We are the only studio in the UK currently offering this service, although I imagine there will be people who will follow in our footsteps after seeing its great success.
“What started as a creative way to celebrate pregnancy turned into an international phenomenon. Since our reel has been posted, the studio phones have been constantly ringing and notifications flooding in from all around the globe - from Hong Kong to Hawaii!
The response has also sparked huge interest within the ceramics community.
Pottery studios from across the UK and as far away as Australia have contacted the business to find out more, while its first baby bump training day recently welcomed visitors who travelled from Northern Ireland to learn the technique.
