Major update as prisoner at large from Fylde Coast prison with Police issuing 'do not approach' warning

Lancashire Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a prisoner who is ‘unlawfully at large.’

Bryan Thomas is wanted for failing to return to HMP Kirkham following temporary release on August 21 to do unpaid work.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Since then, numerous enquiries have been ongoing to find Thomas, 27, who comes from Kirkby, Merseyside.

“We are now asking for your help as part of those enquiries to return Thomas to lawfully custody.”

Thomas is around 5ft 8in, medium build, has brown hair and blue eyes. He has links to the Kirkby and Melling areas of Merseyside, and to Manchester.

“We ask that you do not approach Thomas but to report any immediate sightings by calling 999.

“Any previous sightings or information as to where he might be, please contact 101 – quoting log 1512 of 21st August”
