Three firms share post Budget insight to help 50 Blackpool and Fylde coast businesses soar
“On the back of the excellent turn-out and feedback we have had from our latest Budget Breakfast at The Village, we are looking forward to supporting our clients and the wider business community with even more events next year.”
Three firms joined forces to provide more than 50 Fylde coast businesses with post-Budget insight to help them plan their financial future.
Brown & Co accountants, Napthens solicitors and Chameleon Financial Planning, all took to the stage at The Village Hotel, Blackpool for a joint Budget Breakfast event on Friday to give Fylde Coast companies the information they need to help them prosper.

Almost 60 people attended the breakfast event for a morning of business networking and to hear from Chris Brown, founder and Managing Director of Brown & Co; Victoria Cross, Legal Director of Napthens; Mike Lovell, Director of Chameleon Financial Planning; and Jake Ashurst, Head of Corporate Service at Brown & Co, on how the Budget affected them.
Chris said: “While on the surface, last week’s Budget might not have had the headline grabbing attention it did the previous year, when you delved into the detail there were still several aspects we felt were important to share with our clients and associates.
“Bringing businesses together in this way is something we enjoy doing and we also see it as an important part of our role to educate not only our clients, but also the wider business community across the area, to help people make more informed decisions.”

Victoria Cross, of Napthens, said: “Joining forces across the three organisations meant we were able to provide attendees with a rounded approach to help them plan their financial future in their professional and personal lives. It was an excellent opportunity to share our combined expertise and knowledge with a wide range of businesspeople.”
Mike Lovell, of Chameleon Financial Planning, said: “The key takeaway I wanted to highlight was how important planning is for business owners in knowing, not only what changes are on the immediate horizon, but also what is coming down the track so they can take appropriate action now to put them in the best possible place for the future.”
