The round-up of last weekend’s matches involving Fylde Hockey Club.

The main match for Fylde Hockey Club last weekend was the North West Women’s Division One match featuring their second and third teams.

It ended in a 4-1 win for the seconds, who took the lead when Donna Hurd deflected in a short corner before Emily Finney levelled.

Hermione Edwards restored the seconds’ advantage after the break, with Fran Moore making it 3-1.

The scoring was completed when Hurd was on target from another short corner.

Elsewhere, Fylde 1 were 2-0 winners over City of York in Women’s Conference North.

North West Women’s Division Three North brought a 2-1 loss for Fylde 4 against league leaders Carlisle 2.

Fylde 1 were beaten 5-3 at Kendal 1 in North West Open Men’s Division Three North.

They were 4-1 down inside 15 minutes after Connor Lasrado had cancelled out Kendal’s opener.
