Blackpool team news V Reading: Seasiders make two changes from midweek defeat

Blackpool take on Reading at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

Blackpool have named their team to take on Reading this afternoon.

The Seasiders head to the Select Car Leasing Stadium looking to bounce back from their first defeat of the season away to Barnsley on Wednesday night.

From the 2-1 loss at Oakwell, Ian Evatt has made two changes. George Honeyman drops out of the matchday squad after suffering a calf injury in South Yorkshire, with Leighton Clarkson replacing him in the midfield.

There’s also an alteration up front, as Jerry Yates replaces Tom Bloxham for his first start since returning to Bloomfield Road on loan from Luton Town last month.

Changes have also been made to the bench, with CJ Hamilton dropping out after suffering a serious knee injury against Barnsley, leaving room for both Ilmari Niskanen and Jordan Brown to be in position to make their returns to action.

Here’s the full starting XI: Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Jordan Williams, Olly Casey, Josh Earl, Josh Bowler, Karoy Anderson, Albie Morgan, Leighton Clarkson, Finey Munroe, Jerry Yates, Dion Charles.

Substitutes: Luke Southwood, Andy Lyons, Zac Ashworth, Jordan Brown, Tom Bloxham, Ilmari Niskanen, Oli Hunter.
