Blackpool team news V Lincoln City: Four changes for EFL Cup tie as Middlesbrough man makes first start

Blackpool take on Lincoln City in the second round of the EFL Cup this evening.

Blackpool have named their team to take on Lincoln City in the EFL Cup this evening.

The Seasiders progressed to the second round of tonight’s competition with a 3-1 victory away to Grimsby Town earlier this month, while last season’s League One winners beat Derby County 2-1 in their campaign opener.

Ian Evatt has made four changes to his side after Saturday afternoon’s 2-1 victory over Stockport County at Edgeley Park.

Andy Lyons comes into the back three, Leighton Clarkson and Hayden Coulson join the midfield with captain George Honeyman, and Finley Munroe makes his first start in Tangerine following his loan move from Middlesbrough.

This sees Jordan Williams, Karoy Anderson and Dion Charles drop down to the bench, while Albie Morgan isn’t involved in any capacity.

Here’s the full starting XI: Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Andy Lyons, Olly Casey, Zac Ashworth, Josh Bowler, Leighton Clarkson, George Honeyman, Hayden Coulson, Finley Munroe, Tom Bloxham, CJ Hamilton.

Substitutes: Luke Southwood, Charlie Brier, Karoy Anderson, Dion Charles, Kylian Kouassi, Jordan Williams, Shay Mannix, Oli Hunter, Harry Quinn.
