Blackpool departure confirmed for striker after agreeing Colchester United deal
Kylian Kouassi’s time with Blackpool has come to an end.
Blackpool have confirmed the departure of Kylian Kouassi - with the forward making a permanent move to Colchester United.
The 23-year-old has joined the League Two outfit on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Kouassi first made the move to Bloomfield Road from Sutton United back in 2023.

The majority of his outings in Tangerine came in his first few months, before spending the last two seasons on loan with Salford City and Cambridge United.
Due to a shortage of bodies up front at Blackpool at the start of the current campaign, further appearances came the way of the striker, including a goal-scoring cameo off the bench against Grimsby Town in the first round of the EFL Cup.
Kouassi departs the Seasiders having found the back of the net six times in total in 28 games.
Prior to confirmation of the deal with Colchester, Ian Evatt admitted he was ‘proud’ of the attacker for carving out opportunities for himself.
“There’s a lot of interest in Kylian, and I’m so pleased for him,” he said on Saturday.
“I can only judge him from what I’ve seen, but he’s been first-class on and off the pitch from the minute I took pre-season.
“Whatever happens, I’m proud of him for what he’s done, and will always be here as a support.
“There’s a huge amount of interest, and now Kylian has a choice for himself, which is something he should be pleased with because he’s worked hard for it.”
