'No coincidence' to 'best news' - How Blackpool fans reacted to return of popular figure
Karoy Anderson has returned to Blackpool on a permanent basis.
Blackpool fans have been expressing their excitement over the permanent signing of Karoy Anderson from Charlton Athletic.
The midfielder becomes the Seasiders’ third addition of the summer - following Dion Charles’ loan move from Huddersfield Town and the capture of Ilmari Niskanen as a free agent.
Anderson is already a familiar face at Bloomfield Road, with the 21-year-old spending the second half of last season on loan with Ian Evatt’s side.

During that time, he made 16 appearances, with a goal coming on his debut away to Huddersfield Town.
The Jamaica international truly started to impress towards the end of his stint, as he helped Blackpool to League One survival.
Reacting on social media, one fan wrote: “Great signing, did well last season. Comes in already knowing the club, the players and the management, so can slot right back in and get up to speed quickly with pre-season.”
Another added: “Brilliant signing. What a difference he made to our midfield. It’s no coincidence that we got the run we needed at the end of last season when Anderson was in the side.”
A third stated: “That is a great signing - a talented youngster tied down on a long-term contract, should always be the preferred mantra for all signings. A really positive statement of intent - pleasure sir can we have some more.”
A fourth agreed: “Best news of the close season. Really promising player. Welcome back Karoy.”
Meanwhile, a fifth wrote: “Made my day.”
