Blackpool FC complete third signing of the summer as Charlton Athletic man makes return
Karoy Anderson has returned to Blackpool on a permanent basis.
Blackpool have completed their third signing of the summer - with Karoy Anderson returning to Bloomfield Road after a successful loan spell.
The midfielder has penned a four-year deal, including a one-year option, with the Seasiders after an undisclosed fee was agreed with Charlton Athletic.
After arriving on the Fylde Coast at the beginning of February, the 21-year-old made 16 appearances, with a goal coming on his debut away to Huddersfield Town.

The Jamaica international truly started to impress towards the end of his stint, as he helped Ian Evatt’s side to League One survival.
His energy in the midfield led his manager to describe him as a ‘pressing monster,’ with a partnership with Jordan Brown helping both players to flourish.
Despite his positive displays in Tangerine, it still seemed pretty likely he would depart Charlton this summer, especially with Blackpool eager to make a deal happen.
The move marks the end of Anderson’s lengthy association with the Addicks - whom he first joined as an eight-year-old.
After working his way up through the youth ranks at the Valley, he went on to make 88 senior outings for the South East London outfit on the back of his first-team debut in 2022.
Among his appearances was a cameo off the bench in the 2025 play-off final - which saw Nathan Jones’ side clinch victory over Leyton Orient to win promotion to the Championship.
