Update on Fleetwood Health and Fitness Centre after suspected gas leak

Fleetwood Health and Fitness Centre was temporarily closed today following a suspected gas leak.

The centre issued a customer notice confirming that the building had initially been closed while the situation was assessed with the Fire Brigade.

After around an hour, the building had been fully checked and cleared by professionals, allowing the centre to reopen.

Lessons and classes are now taking place as normal.

The centre said it would provide updates on social media as further information became available.
