The group said its vision is for a modern, year-round waterfront destination combining independent food and hospitality businesses, short-stay accommodation, community space and live events.

The proposed development would be a two-storey modular village, using high-quality shipping containers or modular buildings. The ground floor would feature 10-12 independent restaurants and cafés, outdoor seating, event space, public toilets, landscaping and a sea-facing promenade.

The first floor would provide 10-12 Airbnb holiday apartments, with private balconies, kitchenettes, luxury studio accommodation, accessible walkways and secure access.

The estimated construction value is between £2.5 million and £3.5 million, with the project expected to create around 40-60 construction jobs during the build, followed by more than 50 permanent hospitality jobs as well as seasonal employment, apprenticeships, and work placements.

Tickets for the disco are £5 and can be bought on the door or email [email protected]
