Prior to publication on August 1, Seaside Shuffle was launched at an event at Tea Amantes in Blackpool, hosted by owner Anna Paprzycka.

A spokesperson for the group Sue Masset said: “Anna was instrumental in encouraging writers to offer their contributions to the anthology.

“At a recent promotional event at Mirrie Dancer in St Annes, organised by two contributors, there was excellent support and feedback for the book.

“Booksellers, Inc had books available with all copies being purchased from an enthusiastic audience.

“The Blackpool connection throughout the anthology will resonate with sandgrown ‘uns, residents, ex pats, loyal holidaymakers, and even those who’ve yet to come here.

“What are you waiting for?!”

It’s published by Hawkwood Books of Blackpool and is currently available locally in Blackpool Waterstones, Storytellers Inc in St Annes, Placket and Booths in Lytham.
