Exciting plans revealed for new restaurant and bar in Fylde coast village

Workers were spotted inside the venue this week.

A new café and bistro is set to open on the Fylde coast after a licensing application was submitted and furniture was spotted being moved into the premises.

Veloura Café and Bistro will open in the near future in the former Naga Spice venue on Wyre View, Knott End. The building has been empty for three years after Naga closed its doors in early 2023.

Earlier this week a licensing application was submitted to Wyre Council by owner Gokhan Akcay, seeking permission to serve alcohol seven days a week from 7am until 10pm.

Residents and businesses in Knott End will have until December 1st to make their representations on the application, which was lodged on November 3rd.

No opening date has been announced for Veloura, but staff were spotted moving furniture and electrical appliances into the venue yesterday. It is expected that the business will operate as a café during the daytime and as a bar at night-time, but this is still unconfirmed.

More updates will follow as Veloura heads closer to its opening launch.
