25. The County Hotel on the corner of the Promenade and Church Street in the 1950s and to the right is part of the glass canopy of The Palace Theatre. Both buildings were demolished in the 1960s to make way for Lewis's department store and today Harry Ramsden's and TJ Hughes are amongst the outlets on this site. The cuved exterior of the Burton's Building until recently housed Burger King and in the distance is Robert's Oyster Bar which opened in 1876. Blackpool Historical
