Former Hodgson Academy pupil George, who enjoyed a six-month secondment in California studying at the University San Marcos, began recreating iconic landmarks in digital format as a hobby and “escapism” from working long hours.

The success of his first exhibition The Golden Hour at Gallery1988 last year led to bosses inviting him back to show his latest works from April 2.

He said: “I’m honoured to be returning to Gallery1988 for my second annual solo show

“There’ll be new exclusive pieces focusing on iconic locations in the city, as well as limited-edition variants of some of my most popular existing prints.

“It’s a smaller release than last year but it’s full of highly requested buildings that I’ve been wanting to work on for a while now and I’m really proud of how it’s turned out.”

George’s gallery of work is accessible to view on his website and his Instagram page.

Speaking on the themes behind the Sun Kissed artworks, he added: “With warm weather right around the corner, by April I think this show will be a great transition into a summer with more positive times ahead.”
