Adult pantomime at Blackpool's Joe Longthorne Theatre set heat up summer at North Pier
What summer 2021 really needs is a sprinkling of pantomime magic – oh, yes it does.
And renowned theatre company LHK Productions is set to get tongues wagging with its summer treat Aladdin and His Magic Ring, which will be presented exclusively for grown-ups.
The adult-themed production will open at North Pier’s Joe Longthorne Theatre on July 24 for a month-long run, with television personality Kim Woodburn announced in the role of the Genie.
Further cast announcements will be made shortly.

“It’s great to back out there doing what we love; putting on entertaining shows with first class cast members in fabulous venues. We want to make the public relax and smile, especially after what we have all been through in the past year.”
Aladdin and His Magic Ring tells the story of a young, audacious man who needs to find his princess. If he doesn’t he could explode… quite literally.
Lee said audiences can expect the script to be “raunchy, rude and X-rated”.
Television presenter Kim Woodburn, of Channel 4’s How Clean Is Your House? said: “I have thoroughly missed being able to perform on stage and when Lee approached me with this script, within the first few minutes of reading I just knew I had to be involved.
