Fleetwood to face either Everton or Newcastle in next round of Carabao Cup
Fleetwood have been rewarded with a home Carabao Cup quarter-final tie against Everton or Newcastle after Tuesday night’s stunning win against Arsenal.
The Cod Army, 18th in Sky Bet League Two, defied their lowly standing by defeating the Gunners on penalties and will now face another top-flight side at Highbury in December.

Bradford, surprise finalists in 2013 when in the bottom tier, have been drawn to play holders and nine-time winners Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
Record 10-time winners Liverpool will face head coach Andoni Iraola’s former club Bournemouth and Crystal Palace, who have reached the last eight for three straight seasons, will take on two-time runners-up Sunderland at Selhurst Park.
All the quarter-final ties will take place during the week commencing December 14.
