Blackpool make their first addition of the January transfer window with the loan...

The Seasiders were due to welcome Keith Curle's men to Bloomfield Road last night, but the fixture was called off at 5.30pm due to a waterlogged pitch.

Referee James Oldham took the decision after a "lengthy" inspection of the pitch, Blackpool said in a statement, with further rain forecasted.

Explaining his decision to postpone the game, Oldham said: “I have been here for about 45 minutes or so now and the pitch is not improving and neither is the weather forecast.

“From just rolling the ball in the key action areas, it isn’t bouncing or travelling very well, particularly in both goalmouths.

"That’s behind the decision to postpone the game.”

The League One encounter will now take place on Tuesday, February 2 (7pm kick-off).
