Tyreece John-Jules heads wide at full stretch from Dujon Sterling’s right-wing cross.

That’s better from Pool.

We’re back underway

Boro get the game restarted.

Pool emerge unchanged, which is a little surprising. Tyreece John-Jules didn’t have the best of halves and Jerry Yates will be desperate to get on.

That brings an end to the first 45 minutes.

Seasiders trail at the break courtesy of Marcus Tavernier’s highly contentious goal on 11 minutes. Tyreece John-Jules missed a sitter to level, before Boro clipped the top of the bar.

Regardless of how Boro scored, Pool haven’t quite been at it today. Saying that, it’s not been a great game either.

Luke Garbutt plays a cleverly-worked corner short to Tyreece John-Jules, who simply has to shoot first time. But he ops to control it, but he can’t get the ball under control.

Instead, it bobbles into the path of Shayne Lavery, but he blazes well over. To be fair, it was an awakrd one for the Northern Irishman, who was already off balance.

There will be three minutes of time added on at the end of the first-half.

Marcus Tavernier’s corner is a dangerous one, but Pool do well to clear their lines.

Pool break through Shayne Lavery and Tyreece John-Jules, but the counter breaks down following a poor pass from the latter. The move had lost its momentum by that point anyway, allowing Boro’s players to retreat.

It’s a bit of a nothing game at the minute. It’s very bitty and the ball seems to be spending more time off the pitch than on it.

Saying that, Keshi Anderson has just conceded a soft corner which has sparked the Boro fans into life. Defending to do.

The ball drops nicely for Ryan Wintle on the edge of the Boro box. The midfielder controls it on his thigh before looping a fairly weak volley that is comfortably wide. Bit of a waste.

Matt Crooks is shown a yellow card for a late foul on Keshi Anderson.

The game is a little quiet at the moment. Pool could do with it sparking into life.

Andraz Sporar thinks he’s beaten the offside trap for Boro, but the linesman’s flag does go up on this occasion.

In any case, Marvin Ekpiteta recovered to clear after Sporar had lobbed Chris Maxwell.
