74 - All to play for

This game is anyone’s now, neither team are settling for the draw.

You’d imagine Madine will play a big role defensively as much as he will up front. Boro are bound to go more direct in the latter stages.

Gary Madine is Pool’s first change, replacing Tyreece John-Jules.

Andraz Sporar is slipped in down the right and beats Richard Keogh for pace, but Chris Maxwell does well to get down to his left and make the save at his near post.

62 - GOAL BLACKPOOL!!!

Pool are level!

Marvin Ekpiteta stabs home after doing superbly to take down and control Richard Keogh’s lovely clipped ball.

Come on!!!

Pool continue to work themselves into some good attacking positions, but too often their final ball is the wrong one. Decision-making has to be better.

Now it’s Boro’s fans’ turn to berate the referee, who gives two fouls in Blackpool’s favour.

Pool are enjoying a bit of momentum here, but they’ve got to capitalise while they can.

Pool work a short corner to Luke Garbutt, whose cross is spilled by former Pool loanee Joe Lumley. The ball falls kindly for Shayne Lavery, who pokes a low effort towards the unguarded goal. But it hits the outside of the post and goes out.

This time it’s Pool’s turn to win a corner as Keshi Anderson’s pullback is cleared behind.

Boro, meanwhile, are forced into a change as the injured Anfernee Dijksteel is replaced by Isaiah Jones.

Marcus Tavernier delivers a corner into the Pool box, but the visitors deal with it well and look to break. But, not for the first time, their counter comes to nothing.

It’s been a really subdued atmosphere at the Riverside this atmosphere, despite the home side leading.

Pool fans are still in fine voice in the away end though, of course. Hopefully they’re given something to cheer soon.
