Ex-Burnley and Reading winger makes Sean Dyche comparison after Blackpool FC's victory over Wycombe Wanderers
Blackpool overcame Wycombe Wanderers with a 1-0 win on the road on Saturday afternoon.
Blackpool’s defensive grit in their 1-0 victory over Wycombe Wanderers has been compared to the type of performance you would’ve expected from Burnley during Sean Dyche’s time at Turf Moor.
Former Clarets winger Glen Little was impressed by the way the Seasiders conducted themselves at the back to secure a vital three points at Adams Park on Saturday afternoon.
A Luke Leahy own goal proved to be the difference between the two teams in Buckinghamshire, as Ian Evatt’s side held on with 10-men to claim a crucial three points, after a red card for Hayden Coulson for a second bookable offence in the 70th minute.
Blackpool now sit six points clear of the League One relegation zone in 16th with just two games remaining, as their survival looks set to be mathematically confirmed next weekend.
Ex-Burnley and Reading man shares views on Blackpool victory

Little, who also represented the likes of Reading and Sheffield United during his playing career, was on commentary duty for BBC Radio Lancashire on Saturday.
The 50-year-old picked out several players for their efforts in helping the Seasiders take a massive step towards safety.
“That should be enough - 16th on 54 points,” he told the broadcaster.
“There needs to be a lot to go wrong for them now. They deserved it, it was hard work. They got the goal early on in the second half; it was an own goal after a great ball in from (Leighton) Clarkson.
“Everything looked good, but then (Hayden) Coulson got sent off with a stupid challenge to get the red card.
“You knew there was going to be a lot of injury time with people going down. It was defence V attack for half an hour.
“It was like watching my old club Burnley under Sean Dyche where it was Nick Pope in goal and James Tarkowski and Ben Mee - the king of the 1-0s, back to the wall, defending for your lives.
“It was cross after cross from Wycombe, (Olly) Casey was magnificent.
“It’s nothing to really celebrate with Blackpool because we know with this team they shouldn’t have been in this position, but it’s more relief now as that should be that.
“You’d like to think they’ll finish it off next week in their last home game with a big crowd there.
“It’s not been a great season as we know, but it looks like they’ve got through and you live to fight another day in League One.”
