The Amy Winehouse Band announces Blackpool Grand Theatre date as 20th anniversary tour expands
Everything you need to know...
The Amy Winehouse Band has announced additional dates for its major UK tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of Amy Winehouse’s defining album, Back to Black, with a Blackpool date confirmed for next year.
The band, made up of musicians who were with Amy from the very beginning of her career and throughout her meteoric rise, will perform at Blackpool Grand Theatre on March 7 as part of the expanded tour. The additional dates have been announced following huge demand for the tour, which celebrates two decades since the release of Back to Black.
Released in 2006, the album transformed Amy Winehouse from a rising British talent into a global cultural force. Its success propelled her to unprecedented heights and culminated in five GRAMMY Award wins at the 2008 ceremony — Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best New Artist.
The achievement made Winehouse the first British woman to win five GRAMMYs in one night. Performing alongside her at that ceremony, as they had done since her earliest gigs in London pubs, was her band.

Keeping Amy's music alive
The Amy Winehouse Band continues to perform her catalogue to audiences around the world, keeping her musical legacy alive and giving new generations the opportunity to experience her modern classic songs performed live.
The band is led by Amy's long-time musical director and bass player Dale Davis and features musicians who both toured and recorded with Winehouse throughout her career. The 2026 anniversary tour will see the band perform Back to Black in full, alongside other Amy Winehouse classics, at venues across the UK throughout October, November and December.
The tour will culminate in a special homecoming performance at London's iconic Roundhouse on December 18, an important venue in Camden, the heart of Amy's story. The celebration will continue into 2027, with newly announced shows across England and Wales joining dates in Scotland. The expanded run now takes the total number of tour dates to more than 50.

Speaking about the Back to Black 20th anniversary tour, Dale Davis said: “I can’t believe that it’s the 20th anniversary of Back To Black this year. When I congratulated Amy on the success of this incredible album, she said to me, not with any arrogance: ‘I knew what I was doing’, and at that moment, I realised that she knew exactly what she had created.
“It’s still an honour, pleasure and privilege to be performing these songs, from this timeless classic.”
The Amy Winehouse Band previously completed a sold-out UK tour in 2025, while also performing on multiple tours and at festivals across Europe, Asia, North America and South America in recent years.
Fans in Blackpool will now have the opportunity to hear the band perform Winehouse's celebrated songs live when the tour comes to Blackpool Grand Theatre on March 7.
