Andrew Howard, Head of Audiences, Marketing and Sales at Blackpool Grand Theatre, said: “When Pride & Prejudice* (*sort of) first came to The Grand in 2023, it brought a real sense of joy into the building. You could feel audiences discovering something much wilder, funnier and more inventive than they might have expected.

“It respects Austen and understands exactly why people still love these characters, but it is completely unafraid to crash into their world with microphones, pop songs and a very modern sense of humour. I’m delighted that Blackpool audiences will have another chance to experience it.

“If you loved it in 2023, this new company gives you a wonderful reason to come back; if you missed it, this is your opportunity to discover what all the noise, laughter and awards have been about. It is clever, celebratory and very, very funny – exactly the kind of show that makes a night at the theatre feel like a proper event.”
