Success at Southport Flower Show brings more golden delight for Leafy Lytham Garden Hub at Lytham Hall
Winning display inspired by memories of what first inspired interest in gardening
The Leafy Lytham Garden Hub at Lytham Hall has celebrated another golden triumph - this time at the double.
Greg Anderton and his team at the Hall won a Large Gold Medal at the Southport Flower Show for their Grand Floral Marquee Display to go with the Large Gold Medal and best in show honour in the plant village category.
It takes Leafy Lytham’s haul of golds to five this year, which included the top prize at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show

Greg said: “A huge thank you to everyone who came along, bought our plants or simply stopped by to say hello, thanks to the team who worked hard at the show, and a special thank you to our team back in Lytham, who have been working hard to keep things running while we’ve been away.
“I started gardening with my grandparents in their garden where I would play with my trains in among the cottage garden flowers and the display is a celebration of my 20th anniversary year in the gardening trade and is a tribute to where it all started.
“The little train which was running around on the display at Chelsea and at Southport in a tribute to them and brings back some really happy memories.”
