Silly Summer kickstarts at Showtown Blackpool with free kids craft sessions all summer
A popular Blackpool venue is offering free kids craft sessions all summer.
A summer of fun has kickstarted in style at Showtown, Blackpool’s award-winning museum, with free kids craft sessions running throughout the summer holidays.
Billy Bracewell, Dorothy Dupoint, Circus Simon and Ringmaster Edward will be serving up their laugh-out-loud antics every day across July and August.
Jill Carruthers, Head of Heritage at Showtown, said: "Silly Summer at Showtown is all about giving families the chance to play, laugh and get creative together. With our fantastic new characters, interactive performances and themed craft sessions, there's something happening every day to inspire imaginations and create lasting memories. We can't wait to welcome visitors for a summer full of fun at Showtown.”
Showtown, located on Hey Bank Street next to Coral Island, has won multiple awards and accolades since opening in March 2024.
Visitors can enjoy guided tours, dance sessions and circus skills workshops, as well as much more. Additionally, Showtown is offering free Summer Crafts sessions on Wednesdays throughout July and August.
The craft sessions, designed for kids aged 4-12, are free with every admission and run from 11.30am to 2.30pm on Wednesdays. A full list of dates can be found below:
