Update on road closure in Fleetwood as major United Utilities pipeline work continues

The section of road will be closed until the end of the year.
Copse Road in Fleetwood will be closed to traffic from Kilbane Street to its junction with Amounderness Way until December.
The section of the road will be closed to traffic until Thursday December 31 as part of ongoing sewage pipeline works.
Contractors Murphy Group is installing a 1.5km pipeline from Fleetwood Wastewater Treatment Works to the sea outfall to replace the existing pipeline on behalf of United Utilities.
An alternative route for vehicular traffic is in place using Amounderness Way to Denham Way and for cyclists and pedestrians, Larkholme Avenue to Fleetwood Road.
