National café-bar chain Lounge announces opening date for Orco - its new Cleveleys venue
“Orco Lounge will be your home-from-home serving delicious food and drinks from morning ‘til night.”
National cafe bar chain Lounge is opening its latest Fylde Coast venue in Cleveleys in the autumn.
Described as the UK’s ‘fastest growing cafe bar group’ Lounge will open the doors to Orco on Wednesday October 7 - adding to an already booming stretch of places to eat and drink in Cleveleys.
The company, which has two venues in Blackpool, has named the bar after Cleveleys’ own stone beach giant Orco which is Italian for Ogre.

It will be located at the Cats Protection building, formerly Argos, on Victoria Road West and will create 30 new jobs
The Bristol-based chain has already proved popular with its Vintro Lounge in Blackpool’s Church Street and Lytham’s Trevino Lounge, which opened in Clifton Street in 2024.
With community at its heart, Orco Lounge will offer a welcoming space for regular meet‑ups, business catch‑ups, book clubs, knitting groups, parent‑and‑baby sessions, creative workshops and more.
Local groups looking for a friendly, flexible venue will be encouraged to get in touch.
Joelie Kelly, Regional Community Manager, Loungers said: “We’re so looking forward to welcoming everyone to Orco Lounge in October.
“Becoming a genuine part of the community is incredibly important to us, and we can’t wait to meet our neighbours and get involved locally.
“If you’re looking for a friendly, flexible space for events or group meet‑ups, pop in once we’re open - we’d love to chat and see how we can help.”
