Late-night kebab trip ends in court for uninsured Lancashire driver
A late-night trip for a kebab ended in court action after a motorist was stopped by police while driving illegally through Lancashire.
Officers intercepted the man after he drove from Fleetwood to Preston, reportedly attempting to avoid officers who were on patrol.
According to police, the driver aroused suspicion when he deliberately tried to evade officers, prompting them to stop the vehicle.

Checks soon revealed why he was keen not to speak to them.
The man was found to be driving on a provisional licence and without insurance.
Officers subsequently seized the vehicle at the roadside and issued a summons requiring him to appear in court.
In a post shared on social media on Sunday, December 28, police described the incident as “one expensive kebab,” highlighting the consequences of driving without the correct licence or insurance.
