Lancashire Police appeal after reported sexual assault at Fubar’s Rum Bar on Blackpool Promenade
The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a woman was reportedly sexually assaulted at a bar in Blackpool.
Officers were flagged down outside Fubar’s Rum Bar on Blackpool Promenade in the early hours of Sunday after door staff received a report of a sexual assault inside the venue. Police said it was reported that a man sexually assaulted a woman at around 1.10am.
The man was described as being in his 30s, mixed-race and wearing a black T-shirt and blue denim jeans. Police said he was reported to speak with an English accent.

A 36-year-old man from Preston was later arrested on Queen Street, near Outside Man Bar, on suspicion of sexual assault and common assault. He has since been bailed while police enquiries continue.
Police are now asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has footage that could assist the investigation to come forward. Officers said there were likely to have been a large number of people inside the bar at the time and that they may not yet have spoken to everyone who could have information.
Anyone who can assist the investigation is asked to call 101, quoting log 1705 of August 22.
