Fylde coast pub to honour Armed Forces with a free drink this Remembrance Sunday
“A moment to reflect, a chance to say thank you and a place for the community to come together.”
A Blackpool pub is inviting people to come together on Remembrance Sunday, offering a free drink to those who serve, or have served, in the Armed Forces.
On Sunday November 8, serving personnel and veterans who show their military card at Corner House pub in Sherbourne Road, can enjoy a drink on the house, worth up to £6. It’s a small gesture of thanks to those who have given so much.

At 11am, pubs will pause service and invite customers to join the two-minute silence, taking a moment together to remember and honour those who have served.
The pub is part of Proper Pubs, the award-winning community wet-led operator division of Admiral Taverns, which has more than 200 pubs across England, Scotland and Wales.
A spokesperson for Admiral Taverns said: “A moment to reflect, a chance to say thank you and a place for the community to come together.”
