'Celine Dion in Paris or Celine Deal-On in Blackpool' - Lidl teams up with Hunsnet to stage Tower tribute act
‘Why travel to Paris for Celine when we’re bringing Celine Deal-On to Blackpool?’
Fans who missed out on Celine Dion's sold-out Paris residency are being offered an alternative in Blackpool, after supermarket chain Lidl teamed up with content creator Hunsnet to stage a tribute show at Blackpool Tower.
The event, called "Celine Deal-On: The Shop Must Go On", will run over two days on Saturday October 10 and Sunday October 11 and is hosted by Lidl's "Middle of Lidl" mascot, Celine Deal-On. The show will feature ballads, bingo and a brunch-style menu, alongside interactive games and a headline performance from Celine Deal-On.
Food on offer includes halloumi bites, hoisin duck, and a choice of vegan Moroccan, Angus beef or chicken burgers, followed by items from Lidl's bakery range. Entertainment will include a quiz and "Big Shop Bingo", alongside prizes from Lidl's middle aisle.

Gareth Howells, founder of HUNSNET, says: “Why travel to Paris for Celine when we’re bringing Celine Deal-On to Blackpool? We’ve got a tower, we’ve got the big ballads and we’ve got Lidl. We’ve had such a brilliant summer with Lidl, from Pride to Mighty Hoopla, and taking over the Blackpool Tower together feels like the perfect next stop.
“Expect big vocals, excessive audience participation and absolutely no opportunity to be understated. Your heart will go on. Your voice might need the following morning off!”
Tickets cost £7.99, with an additional £10 deposit returnable upon attendance, and go on sale via Eventbrite from 10am on 11 September 2026, while stocks last.
