Britain's Got Talent bosses appeal for Fylde coast fans to join show
The hit show’s auditions will be returning to Blackpool this October ahead of the main filming for BGT’s 20th season.
Britain’s Got Talent bosses are calling on Fylde Coast locals to join the audience as the hit show returns to Blackpool’s Winter Gardens this Autumn.
A spokesperson for the show said: “Britain’s Got Talent are looking for people local to Blackpool to be filmed in the audience for our auditions. Filming will take place from 6th-8th, 10th-12th and the 14th-17th of October 2026 where, if selected, you will have the opportunity to comment on the exciting acts on stage!

“We’re looking for chatty, enthusiastic pairs from any and all backgrounds. Parents, kids, couples, friends... anyone who is passionate about BGT and happy to be in front of the camera whilst watching the acts!”
The Winter Gardens has become a familiar BGT backdrop, with Blackpool’s entertainment heritage making it a natural home for the auditions.
Blackpool first hosted the show back in 2012 and ITV bosses have been sending Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and co to the seaside ever since.
