Blackpool's Kincraig Primary School praised by Ofsted chief inspector for exceptional grade
“I am writing to say how pleased I am that you have received an exceptional grade at your most recent inspection.”
Kincraig Primary School in Bispham, Blackpool, has received a letter of commendation from His Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Education, Sir Martyn Oliver, following its exceptional grade at its most recent inspection.
In a letter addressed to headteacher Mrs Karen Smith, Sir Martyn congratulated the school on its achievement, highlighting the high standards of educational practice required to receive the exceptional grade.
He wrote: “I am writing to say how pleased I am that you have received an exceptional grade at your most recent inspection.”
The exceptional grade is designed to recognise the very best educational practice in England, with schools required to demonstrate consistently high standards over time and deliver a transformational impact, particularly for pupils who face barriers to learning.
Commending the headteacher and her team, Sir Martyn said: “I would therefore like to commend you and your team on your excellent work. You should be very proud of what has been achieved.”
The chief inspector also encouraged the school to share its experience and expertise to help improve education more widely.
