Revealed: Blackpool residents reveal the town's best street to live on, from Albert Road to Warley Road
What street would you choose?
If you ask Blackpool residents where the town's best street is, you're unlikely to get the same answer twice.
The Blackpool Gazette posed the simple question to readers on social media: "The best street to live on in Blackpool is?" The responses ranged from nostalgic favourites and peaceful neighbourhoods to streets with iconic seaside views, while others said it was the sense of community that mattered most.
Here’s what people had to say...

Several readers looked back fondly on the areas where they grew up, with Buchanan Street proving one of the most frequently mentioned.
Angela Archuleta said: "When I was growing up it was always Buchanan Street. Loved that area."
Paul Ellis agreed, adding: "Buchanan st was a great place when I was growing up. 5 mins walk to town, 5 mins to bus and train station."
Others also reminisced about former favourites.
Angela Brookes said: "Albert road. Back in the day."
Steve Houghton wrote: "It used to be Henthorne Street."
Robbie Carr added: "For me it was Waterloo Road before we moved."

For some, family memories made a street special.
Mel Jackson-Brown said: "Cumberland Avenue.....in my past, as my grand humans had a BnB there."
Others highlighted quieter residential areas, praising their surroundings and attractive homes.
Betty Humphreys wrote: "All the lovely streets round Staley Park and Marton. Beautiful houses."
Craig Sagar echoed those sentiments, saying: "I was lucky to grow up round whitegate drive and Stanley park area . Great place to grow up."
Tim Young simply described his choice as: "Lawson Road, very peaceful and tidy."
The town's famous coastline also featured prominently. Warley Road, close to the seafront at Gynn, earned a passionate endorsement from Russell Chadbourn, who wrote: "Warley Road, we have the beach and the Illuminations and the Gynn and Magic Chef."
Nearby, Rebecca Davey nominated: "Gynn square, Bispham."
Another reader said the perfect street was anywhere overlooking one of Blackpool's biggest attractions.
Shaun Thomson commented: "Somewhere you can see blackpool pleasure beach."

Convenience also played a part in some readers' choices.
Paul Watson picked "Station Road, handy for everything South."
Meanwhile, Mazz Watson said: "I'm on Palatine Road. We love it , so much people watching."
For others, it was less about the name of the street and more about the people who live there.
Allia Wilkinson said: "The one that all looks out and cares for each other."
Some broadened the debate beyond a single road altogether.
Reasarf Ynnad simply wrote: "Blackpool full stop."
And Helen Bashforth offered perhaps the most personal answer of all: "Mine!"
The discussion highlighted just how many parts of Blackpool hold special memories for residents. From roads such as Albert Road, close to the Winter Gardens and town centre, and Waterloo Road in South Shore, to the leafy neighbourhoods around Stanley Park and the seafront views near Gynn Square, every corner of the resort has its champions.
Whether chosen for nostalgia, community spirit, convenience or the view, the responses showed that the "best" street often comes down to the memories people have made there.
