Banking hub now open in former NatWest building in St Annes - all you need to know
“A lot of people helped get this over the line - now we need to make sure it stays”
The new Banking Hub in St Annes has been officially opened.
The facility operated by Cash Access UK is located in the former NatWest building in St Annes Square and the ribbon was cut to mark the official opening by town mayor Cllr Cheryl Little and Fylde MP Andrew Snowden.
Cllr Little said: “I’m delighted to welcome this new Banking Hub to ST Annes.

“Thanks must go to Mr Snowden for recognising the hard work, dedication and determination St. Anne’s Town Council put in to facilitate the opening of the Hub, here in the heart of our community.”
Mr Snowden said: “It’s great that St Annes now has its own Banking Hub, giving residents and businesses somewhere they can actually speak to someone face to face, access cash and get proper banking support.
“A lot of people helped get this over the line. Now we need to make sure it stays.”
Planning permission for the Hub to be located in the former NatWest building - which closed as a bank in the summer of last year - was granted earlier this year by Fylde Council.

The Hub at that location looked set to follow shortly after the closure of the last bank in town - and in Fylde borough - when Santander shut its doors in March, but a temporary Hub was set up at The Drive Methodist Church while final arrangements were made.
The Hub is open from 9am to 5pm Mondays to Fridays and offers all the usual banking services daily, with representatives of the following banks on site on the following days for matters which require face to face consultations:
Monday - Barclays; Tuesday - Lloyds/Halifax/Bank of Scotland; Wednesday - NatWest/RBS; Thursday - HSBC; Friday - Santander (9am to 4.30pm).
