'We'll be back' - Popular Blackpool town centre takeaway issues update on refurbishment work

A local Blackpool business has issued an update on its major refurbishment project.

Arnie’s, a popular takeaway located on Talbot Road near the town’s Premier Inn, has been open for the past two years but the establishment’s owners says that, owing to growing demand, a refurb and expansion is needed.

Working to install a seating area to serve in-house customers, Arnie’s will be able to accommodate 60 people once the work is finished, with owner Shekhar Subedi saying: “We want people to sit down, enjoy the moment and make memories.”

In the meantime, Shekhar said that customers can still order Arnie’s food to take away, and also revealed that the restaurant has undertaken new collaborations with fellow takeaway brands King Castle and Oh My Cheesecake.

“Our kitchen is open and running as usual for deliveries while we are carrying out refurbishment work in the takeaway front area,” said Shekhar. “Thank you for your patience and continued support.

“We will be back with a fresh new front very soon.”
