Bikers brave weather for local hospice

The roar of engines drowned out the coastal wind this weekend as more than 50 bikers gathered at The Shovels pub for the Setantii MCC annual Easter egg run. Despite the relentless rain and typical Blackpool gusts, the group remained undeterred in their mission to deliver seasonal cheer to the youngsters at Brian House Children’s Hospice.

The convoy of bikes, decorated with various festive flourishes, made its way through the town to the Bispham-based hospice. Upon arrival, the bikers were met with warm welcomes as they unloaded a massive haul of Easter eggs, toys, and games intended to brighten the holiday for children and their families.

Beyond the physical gifts, the club and friends presented cheque for more than £600 to support the essential palliative care services provided by Brian House. The donation highlights the group's ongoing commitment to the local community, proving that even the most dismal British weather cannot dampen the spirit of charity on the Fylde coast.
