Here are some of the most historically and architecturally significant objects:
13. Main lodges and entrance gate to Lytham Hall
Entrance archway with integral lodges. Probably 1840s, originally sited adjacent to the (former) Estate Office in Hastings Place and removed to this site after that approach to the Hall was interrupted by the Lytham-Blackpool Railway (1861-3)
14. Laura Janet Memorial Cross at St Annes Parish Churchyard
A memorial cross to five of the crew of the lifeboat Laura Janet, sculpted by W B Rhind and unveiled in 1887.
15. Sundial in Bispham Parish Church
Sundial on stone shaft said to be base of former cross. Shaft of square section approximately 1 metre high, mounted in octagonal stone block on circular stone disc; incised letters "IH" on north side, "RB" on west side ("IH" = "John Hull", donor of sundial, "RB" possibly "Robert Broadbelt", parish clerk 1678-1715)
16. Radar Training Station in Fleetwood
Radar Station. 1961-2 by Lancashire County Council Architect's Department under Roger Booth, designer and architect in charge Eric Morris Hart, Assistant County Architect, Clerk of Works Tom Dennis. It was built for the practical training of masters and crews of coastal craft in the latest radar technology.
17. The Big Dipper
A wooden rollercoaster of 1923 by William H Strickler and John A Miller, altered by Charles Paige in 1935, Joseph Emberton in 1936 and Felix Samuely in 1953, and with later modifications.
18. Sir Hiram Maxim's Captive Flying Machine
A static amusement ride of 1904 designed by Sir Hiram Stevens Maxim, comprising a raised timber boarding platform around a central vertical drive shaft supported by a steel lattice tower, with cars suspended on wires from timber booms radiating from the shaft.
