Here are some of the most historically and architecturally significant objects:
19. North Pier
Pier, 1862-3, by Eugenius Birch, contractors R. Laidlaw and Son of Glasgow. Cast iron screw piles and columns supporting iron girders and wooden deck 1,405 feet long, with jetty of 474 feet (added 1867).
20. Noah's Ark
A walk-through dark ride of 1922 designed by noted rollercoaster designer William H Strickler. It comprises a large wooden boat mounted on a rocking mechanism surrounded by a single-storey building intended to represent the top of Mt Ararat, with a pool of water surrounding the boat.
21. The Grand National
A wooden Mbius loop racing rollercoaster of 1935, designed by Charles Paige and Harry G Traver, with a concrete Moderne station by Jospeh Emberton completely replaced in 1990 to the original designs.
22. The Mount and cobble wall
A C19 seaside garden created out of a former sandhill from where the new town and port of Fleetwood was laid out. Both the garden and town were designed by the eminent architect and landscape designer Decimus Burton.
23. Marton Windmill
A former tower windmill of tapered design built in the 1830s for the Clifton Estate with repairs undertaken in the 1960s. Architect unknown.
