The queens of drag, famed for their extravagant and highly entertaining shows are legendary and a huge magnet for tourism. Headline stars Betty Legs Diamond and DJ Zoe were there for the opening night of Funny Girls and are still performing with the newer stars of drag. These pictures kick back to the very early days to celebrate Blackpool’s true queens.
